Sasha DiGiulian won the IFSC Combined World Championship in 2011 and became the first American woman to redpoint 5.14d (9a) with Era Vella in Spain in 2012. She completed the first female ascent of the Platinum Wall on El Capitan (5.13d, 3,000 feet, 23 days) and has logged over 30 first female free ascents globally, including on the Eiger North Face (Magic Mushroom, 7c+). She founded Send Bars (a nutrition company) and published her memoir Take the Lead in 2023. She graduated from Columbia University in 2016.
