Nino Schurter retired in 2025 after the most dominant career in cross-country mountain bike history. He won 10 elite XCO World Championships (2009, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022) and 9 World Cup overall titles. He collected a complete set of Olympic medals: bronze in Beijing 2008, silver in London 2012, and gold in Rio 2016. He accumulated 36 individual XCO World Cup race victories and spent his entire professional career with the Scott-SRAM MTB Racing Team from 2007. Scott created a custom Spark RC X N1NO for his final World Cup race, painted in Swiss flag colors.
