Keegan Swenson was born in Salt Lake City and grew up in Park City, Utah, and has become the most dominant marathon and endurance mountain biker in North America. He won the Leadville Trail 100 MTB five consecutive times from 2021 through 2025, setting the course record of 5:43:31 in 2023. In 2025, he became the Marathon Mountain Biking World Champion in Verbier-Grimentz, Switzerland, completing the 125 km course with 5,000 m of elevation in 6:01:44. He won the first three editions of the Life Time Grand Prix overall race series (2022-2024) and is a 10-time US national champion across XCO and XCC disciplines. For 2026, he moved from Santa Cruz Bicycles to the Specialized Off-Road Team.
