Jim Shockey has been producing hunting television for over 25 years and has logged hunts in more than 50 countries across six continents. His series Jim Shockey's Hunting Adventures ran for over 20 seasons on the Outdoor Channel, and its follow-up, Uncharted, pushed into more remote destinations. Shockey runs outfitting operations in the Yukon Territory and northern British Columbia, guiding clients on sheep, moose, and grizzly hunts in some of the most remote terrain in North America. He created the Hand of Man Museum (15,500 sq ft) in Maple Bay, British Columbia in 2018.

The barrel is a 416R stainless steel core wrapped in carbon fiber, button-rifled, hand-lapped, and free-floated. Available in roughly 20 chamberings from .22-250 Rem through .338 Lapua Mag, with barrel lengths of 20 to 27 inches depending on caliber. Weighs 7.3 lbs with an adjustable match trigger (2.5-3.5 lbs), removable side-baffle brake, and carbon fiber composite stock.
