Giulia Monego was born in Venice, Italy, and first skied in the Dolomites around Cortina d'Ampezzo at age two. She raced FIS alpine disciplines before transitioning to telemark and then freeride skiing. She won the O'Neill Extreme in Verbier in 2006, the biggest event on the Freeride World Tour. She is one of only a handful of women to complete IFMGA mountain guide certification in Italy. She currently guides off-piste skiing in Verbier through Powder Extreme.

Hybrid binding with tech-style toe and alpine-style heel offering DIN 5-13 at 638g per binding with 100mm brake. 9mm vertical elasticity in heel, 13mm elastic travel in toe. Mode switching without stepping out. Two heel risers plus flat mode. 2024-25 update added metal inserts for durability.
