Eva Shockey grew up in the Yukon alongside her father Jim Shockey and began appearing on his television show as a teenager. She became a co-host of Jim Shockey's Hunting Adventures and built a substantial following of her own, particularly among women entering hunting for the first time. Her 2017 book "Taking Aim" blends hunting memoir with broader themes of outdoor wellness and self-reliance. She shoots her signature Bowtech Eva Gen 3 bow and has partnerships across the archery space including Gold Tip arrows, G5 broadheads, Black Gold sights, Ripcord rests, and Tightspot quivers.

Product description

The Eva Gen 3 is Bowtech's women's-specific compound bow, built with DeadLock cam technology rather than a scaled-down design. It runs 40-60 lbs draw weight, 28" axle-to-axle, 6.125" brace height, 85% let-off, and 326 fps IBO. TimeLock allows cam adjustments with an Allen wrench and no bow press, and GripLock lets the shooter dial in grip angle. At 3.9 lbs, it is one of the lighter purpose-built hunting bows in this class.
