Donnie Vincent studied wildlife biology in college, including Bengal tigers in Bangladesh/Nepal and Pacific salmon in Alaska, before turning to hunting filmmaking. His films look and feel more like nature documentaries: "The River's Divide" (2013) documents a two-year bowhunting quest for a whitetail buck in the North Dakota Badlands and won "Best in Festival" at the Maine Outdoor Film Festival. "Winds of Adak" (premiered August 2020) follows a hunt on the abandoned Naval base on Adak Island in the Aleutians. Vincent self-produces, self-films, and narrates his projects through his production company Sicmanta Multimedia.
