Conrad Anker discovered George Mallory's body on Everest on May 1, 1999, during a search expedition. In 2011, he completed the first ascent of the Shark Fin on Meru Peak in India with Jimmy Chin and Renan Ozturk, after two previous attempts. He summited Everest three times, the last without supplemental oxygen in 2012. He led The North Face climbing team from 1992 to 2018 and has devoted significant time to mentoring the Sherpa community through the Khumbu Climbing Center in Nepal. He suffered a heart attack on Lunag Ri in 2016.

Matching lower body to the L5 jacket system using Gore-Tex 3L or FuseForm construction with Cordura nylon reinforcement at knees, kickpatches, and seat. 2-way center front zip for harness compatibility. Crotch gusset and articulated knees for steep terrain. Designed as the outermost waterproof layer in a full alpine system.
