Christina "Lusti" Lustenberger was born August 14, 1984, in British Columbia and spent nearly a decade racing on the Canadian Alpine Ski Team, including representing Canada at the 2006 Torino Winter Olympics. A series of knee surgeries ended her racing career, and she transitioned to ski mountaineering. She earned her ACMG ski guide certification and completed 19 first descents in six years, including the Great Couloir on the South Face of Mount Robson (February 2025) and Great Trango Tower (6,286m) in Pakistan (2024).
