Adam Ondra established Silence (9c/5.15d) at Flatanger, Norway, in September 2017, the hardest confirmed sport climb in history. He was also the first to climb 9b+ with Change (2012). He has onsighted up to 9a (5.14d) and bouldered up to 8C+ (V16). He competed in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in sport climbing. His YouTube channel documenting training and projects has over 583,000 subscribers.
