Umpqua
Tungsten-bead nymph developed by competitive fly fisher Lance Egan, based on the French nymphing tradition. Tied with a Coq de Leon tail, dyed dun pheasant tail body, copper wire rib, and a hot spot of shrimp pink or orange Ice Dubbing at the thorax. The tungsten bead and slim profile sink quickly, and the hot spot provides a visual trigger. Available in sizes 12-18 through Umpqua Feather Merchants.
