Mako Reel

Mako Reel Company builds reels entirely by hand in the USA with aerospace-grade machining and Type III hard anodizing on 6061 aluminum frames. The fully sealed drag uses a multi-disc carbon fiber stack with button technology to eliminate startup inertia, and an internal mechanism compensates for washer wear. Models span 8wt through 15wt-plus, targeting flats species through bluewater billfish and tuna.
